WPPED CREAM 2010 -

The World's Smallest Balloon

The Model Maker's Fair in Vienna showcases all that's new in the world of model making. But to promote its fair they needed a 'big' idea.

What Ogilvy Vienna offered them was, in fact, a 'tiny' idea - the world's smallest balloon. Balloons have been used as a method of promotion for decades. But until now, no one had thought of creating a model version of one, requiring just 0.058 litres of helium to float.

In the run up to the Model Maker's Fair, promotional teams handed the tiny balloons out. They were an instant hit on account of their model size. And as a result of them, the Fair registered a record number of visitors.
